Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that is enough to be saved?

James 2:19 (NLT) says even the demons believe this and they tremble in terror. Demons believe Jesus is who He says but they are not saved, and do not have access to the presence of God for eternity (Heaven).

John 3:16 (ESV) says “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

This implies more than knowing who Jesus is but being in Him or one with Him.

Being in Christ happens when we receive Him in our hearts as Lord, as Savior. Another way of stating this is being in Christ believing.

When Christ is in our hearts, we are in Him.

This means…

• Clinging to Him and wanting to be near Him.  

• Trusting Him and His promises written in the bible.

• Depending on Him and submitting to His will.

  
  

It is God's will for ALL to be saved but He gives us ALL a choice and will not force this upon anyone.

Next steps:

1. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and be your Lord and Savior.

2. Read your bible asking God to help you understand.

3. Receive the Love of God and learn to walk with Him through the help of the Holy Spirit.

Take it one marvelous day at a time and see the transformative power of Christ come to pass in every area of your life.

There is much more I want to say and share because life in Jesus Christ is amazing and profound, but I also want to keep things simple because God is not confusing, nor does He want to overwhelm.
