The title for this podcast/blog was almost "🪨 When Yesterday's Obedience Becomes Today's Disobedience 🎙️"
Have you ever considered that what God asked you to do yesterday may not be what He's asking you to do today? 🤔
In Exodus 17, God told Moses to strike the rock, and water flowed. đź’§ The miracle came through obedience.
Nearly 40 years later, in Numbers 20, the people faced the same problem—no water. But this time, God gave different instructions:
🗣️ "Speak to the rock."
Moses remembered the method but forgot to listen for God's present voice. Instead of speaking, he struck the rock—twice. Water still flowed, but Moses suffered the consequences because he obeyed yesterday's instructions instead of today's command.
đź’ˇ The Lesson
God doesn't want us to depend on formulas, routines, or past experiences. He wants us to depend on His voice.
Sometimes we become so focused on repeating the last breakthrough that we miss the new thing God is doing.

✨ Am I following God's current voice or yesterday's success?
✨ Have I become more dependent on spiritual routines than on the Holy Spirit?
✨ What is God asking me to do differently in this season?
The greatest miracle isn't found in repeating a method—it's found in walking in daily obedience to the Holy Spirit. 🙏
