Manifestation – The Power of The Tongue Part 2

Many may credit manifestation as a new age or alternative spiritual practice, but did you know manifestation is God’s idea and original concept? Not only are the terms “manifest” and “manifestation” found in the Bible, but the word of God also gives us instructions on how to do this properly. In the first part of this topic, I gave a couple of reasons why manifestation does work for everyone. Let me recap.

Point number one: “God’s concepts, God’s rules”

Manifestation is God’s idea; this is a biblical concept, so you have to read and study what God says about this and how to engage in this practice properly. The bible is not a religious book, but a manual of instructions given to us by the manufacturer. Let us start by examining Proverbs 18:20-21, states “From the fruit of a man's mouth his stomach is satisfied; he is satisfied by the yield of his lips. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.” We can all agree that words have power, but the source of true manifestation is through the power of Jesus Christ who has given us authority through his death and resurrection and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Point number two: Christians don’t manifest their own will but the will of the Father. Manifestation is a tool given to us by God to bring forth His Kingdom come and will be done on earth as it is in heaven. There is no power or authority greater than the almighty God. In Mathew 28:18, Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” This is why there is power and authority in the name of Jesus. When I make declarations which is a form of prayer, I decree and declare according to the Word of God (Scripture) in the name of Jesus. This is directly declaring the will of the Father using the power of the tongue to establish what is not seen into the seen world (AKA manifestation). So, manifesting your own will, will not work in this case. So, let's continue.

Point number three: For the most powerful manifestation, we must believe the word of God.

I hear many excuses from people as to why they don’t believe the Bible. When I hear any of them, I have to ask, “Well have you read the whole thing”. The answer is always “no”. How can you have an opinion on what you haven’t even read? Most people may have only skimmed through select verses and that is not the way the Bible is meant to be interpreted. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. I will repeat, the Bible is not a religious book but a manual of instruction concerning both the spiritual and natural work and how to navigate them. There is a reason why the Bible is the all-time best-selling book and will always be until the end of time. I used to believe all the lies told to me about the bible too, until I read it firsthand.

Point number four: You have to know what you carry.

We were created in the likeness and image of God. The creator of the universe created all things seen and unseen through the creative power of manifestation. He spoke and it came to be. This is meant for us too, but we must have the utmost confidence in our identity as children of God. Our true identity is given to us by God and by knowing Him, we come to know ourselves. As humans, we are essentially spirit, with a soul, living in a body. When we receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, His spirit comes to live within us. This is how we can access the power to manifest.

Final Point: Manifestation outside of God’s will and power is dangerous.

If you are outside of God’s will, you are outside of His protection. False spirituality is sold to us as empowerment or even a way to help others, but this is deception. The spiritual world is real and there are only two sources of power. If you are not operating in the power of the Holy Spirit, you are operating in the power of darkness and will open doors for the devil, demons, and unclean spirits to start operating in your life. If you have been manifesting improperly, you can start to change that today. Renounce this behavior that is displeasing to God, ask for forgiveness, and turn away from this practice. Receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior and the spirit of the Lord will guide you into all truth.
