The purpose of this corporate fast is to seek God intentionally, cut off what belongs to a past season, receive renewed hope and vision, and position ourselves to fulfill His purpose.

👁️ DAY 1: “LORD, OPEN MY EYES!”

Yesterday, we asked God to open our eyes.

We prayed for God to show us the vision He has for our lives, our families, our ministries, our businesses, our assignments, and our spheres of influence.

But here's the question for Day 2:

“NOW THAT I CAN SEE IT, LORD… SHOW ME THE WAY!”

Vision is powerful—but vision without obedience remains only a picture of what could be.

God may give you the destination, but He may not give you the entire roadmap at once.

Sometimes He simply says:

“Take this next step.”

And that's where faith begins.

👣 THE NEXT STEP IS OBEDIENCE

There are people who have been asking God for a new word when God is waiting for them to obey the last word He already gave.

Let that settle in your spirit.

Could it be that you're waiting for another instruction when you haven't obeyed the previous one?

You are asking:

“Lord, what's next?”

And God may be saying:

“Did you do what I already told you to do?”

Sometimes the reason we don't hear a new instruction isn't because God has stopped speaking.

Sometimes we stopped listening.

The fasting guide reminds us that fasting creates space to prioritize our relationship with God, spend intentional time alone with Him, meditate on His Word, invite the Holy Spirit to work in us, and seek His face without distraction.

This is why Day 2 is so important.

We aren't merely asking God for more revelation.

We are asking for grace to obey the revelation we've already received.

🔥 GO BACK TO THE LAST WORD

Today, I want you to ask the Holy Spirit:

“Lord, what was the last thing You told me to do?”

Don't overcomplicate it.

Go back.

Remember the conversation.

Remember the conviction.

Remember the instruction.

Remember the step you knew God was asking you to take—but you delayed.

Maybe it was:

• A relationship you needed to release.

• A conversation you needed to have.

• An apology you needed to make.

• A ministry assignment you needed to begin.

• A business idea you needed to pursue.

• A decision you needed to make.

• A habit you needed to surrender.

• A place you needed to leave.

• A place you needed to go.

• A person you needed to forgive.

• A commitment you needed to keep.

• A step of faith you were afraid to take.

Whatever it was, bring it before the Lord today.

If you did not obey immediately, don't run from God in shame.

Repent. Receive His forgiveness. And obey.

The guide specifically calls believers to begin these days by repenting of known and unknown sin, allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal areas requiring repentance and approaching God with a broken and contrite heart.

Your delay does not have to become your destiny.

You can start today.

🗣️ “SHOW ME THE WAY, LORD!”

Psalm 32:8 contains three powerful promises:

1. “I WILL INSTRUCT YOU…”

God doesn't leave you to figure out your purpose by yourself.

He gives instruction.

He gives wisdom.

He gives direction.

2. “I WILL TEACH YOU IN THE WAY YOU SHOULD GO…”

Notice that God doesn't merely promise to tell you where to go.

He promises to teach you the way you should go.

There is a God-ordained way to walk out the vision He has given you.

3. “I WILL GUIDE YOU…”

God isn't asking you to walk into your future alone.

He will guide you.

You don't need to know every detail.

You need to trust the One who knows the end from the beginning.

🚫 REBUKE THE SPIRIT OF FEAR AND WORRY

One of the greatest enemies of obedience is fear.

We see the vision, but then we start calculating:

“What if it doesn't work?”

“What if I fail?”

“What will people think?”

“What if I don't have enough money?”

“What if I'm not qualified?”

“What if I make the wrong decision?”

And suddenly, what God called us to do becomes buried beneath a mountain of worry.

But today we declare:

FEAR WILL NOT DIRECT MY STEPS.

Worry will not direct my steps.

People's opinions will not direct my steps.

Past disappointments will not direct my steps.

My limitations will not direct my steps.

The Lord will direct my steps!

Our assignment during this fast is not to manufacture confidence in ourselves.

It is to develop confidence in God.

The fasting guide similarly emphasizes submitting plans to God, seeking His will, asking Him for wisdom and direction, and trusting Him with the decisions before us.

🗡️ 5787 — THE YEAR OF THE SWORD

As we enter 5787, we are reminded of the prophetic imagery of the Sword of the Lord and the importance of the Word of God coming through our mouths as we stand in faith.

But today, the sword is not simply about fighting.

It is also about moving forward according to God's Word.

God's Word gives us direction.

God's Spirit gives us guidance.

And obedience puts our faith into motion.

The fasting material describes 5787 in terms of the Sword operating through the believer's spoken Word and emphasizes moving from spiritual stagnation into breakthrough and restoration.

So today:

Don't just see the vision.

Don't just write the vision.

Don't just pray about the vision.

TAKE THE NEXT STEP.

👣 YOUR FAITH MUST MOVE

Abraham could not possess what God showed him while remaining stationary.

There comes a moment when revelation must become action.

Your next step may look small.

But don't despise small beginnings.

The step may not feel significant enough to produce the destiny you see.

Take it anyway.

Because obedience isn't always about understanding the entire journey.

Sometimes obedience is simply saying:

“Lord, I don't know everything You are doing, but I trust You enough to take the next step.”

That's faith.

You don't need the whole staircase.

You need enough light for the next step.

And Psalm 32:8 gives us the assurance:

God will instruct you.

God will teach you.

God will guide you.

God will counsel you.

So MOVE FORWARD!

🙏🏽 DAY 2 PROPHETIC PRAYER

“LORD, SHOW ME THE WAY!”

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today with thanksgiving and praise. Thank You for opening my eyes and allowing me to see more clearly the vision and purpose You have for my life.

Lord, now that I can see, show me the way.

According to Your Word in Psalm 32:8, instruct me, teach me, counsel me, and guide me in the way I should go.

Holy Spirit, search my heart and reveal anything in me that has resisted Your instruction. Show me where I have delayed, hesitated, compromised, or disobeyed.

Father, I repent for every instruction I received but did not obey.

Forgive me for allowing fear, insecurity, comfort, distractions, disappointment, people-pleasing, or worry to keep me from moving when You told me to move.

I return to the last word You spoke.

Give me grace to obey.

Give me courage to take the first step.

Give me discernment to recognize Your voice.

Give me wisdom to know what is You and what is not You.

Give me patience when You tell me to wait.

Give me boldness when You tell me to move.

Give me humility when You correct me.

And give me faith when I cannot see the entire path.

I rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, confusion, hesitation, and intimidation that would cause me to remain stuck.

I refuse to be paralyzed by what I do not know.

I trust the God who knows the way.

Lord, order my steps.

Order my decisions.

Order my relationships.

Order my priorities.

Order my finances.

Order my family.

Order my ministry.

Order my business.

Order my career.

Order my conversations.

Order my time.

Order my entire life according to Your will.

Where I have been walking according to my own understanding, bring me back into alignment.

Where I have been running ahead of You, teach me to wait.

Where I have been lagging behind You, give me courage to move.

And where I have been standing still because of fear, command me forward.

I declare that I will not miss my appointed path because of disobedience.

I will not abandon my assignment because of fear.

I will not allow worry to speak louder than Your Word.

I trust You with the vision because I trust You with the way.

Show me the next step, Lord.

And when You show me—

I WILL OBEY.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,

AMEN!

📝 DAY 2 ASSIGNMENT: TAKE THE NEXT STEP

During your prayer time today, write down:

1. What is the last clear instruction I believe God gave me?

2. Did I obey it? If not, why did I delay?

3. What fear, worry, distraction, or excuse has kept me from obeying?

4. Have I asked God to forgive me for my delayed obedience?

5. What is the FIRST practical step I can take today?

Then do something important:

TAKE THAT STEP.

Don't wait until you feel completely ready.

Don't wait until every detail is clear.

Don't wait until everyone agrees.

Obey what God has already revealed.

Your next step may be the very thing that positions you to receive your next instruction.

🔥 DAY 2: SHOW ME THE WAY!

Yesterday:

“LORD, OPEN MY EYES!” 👁️

Today:

“LORD, SHOW ME THE WAY!” 👣

Tomorrow, God will continue to lead us deeper into divine alignment.

But today, remember:

VISION REQUIRES OBEDIENCE.

REVELATION REQUIRES RESPONSE.

FAITH REQUIRES MOVEMENT.

You trusted God enough to give you the vision.

Now trust Him enough to take the next step.

The Lord knows the way.

The Lord will instruct you.

The Lord will guide you.

The Lord will counsel you.

So lift your head, silence the voice of fear, and take the step.
